I made an 3D-drawing in 3D-PDF format. Now I want to send it to a customer with a link. How can he use it with Acrobat Reader (rotating move zoom etc.)? Is it possible?

Yes, there is online manual. You can use Adobe Reader to open the file. The Adobe application will automatically detect the file and enable the on screen controls to handle it (rotate, pan, zoom, etc). There is also a page set up by the Adobe Corporation to come in need for those that want to learn how to use it.
Can free Acrobat Reader open 3D models? What is needed in order to open 3D files and interact with them?

There was a version of Adobe Acrobat 3D that was capable of opening CAD files, but it was then pulled from the market. This was an attempt from Adobe to enter the CAD market. However, I wouldn't recommend on using it for your operation. Yes, you had the possibility to use Adobe Acrobat 3D to view the files. However, I recommend using another application for this operation. There is one called eDrawings Viewer that has the capability of acting as a fully compatible CAD viewer with multiple file support. Access it official website to find more information about it.
Yes, Adobe Acrobat 3D can convert 3D files to 2D or .jpeg files.

Access the help page here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/displaying-3d-models-pdfs.html
Tip: Send the file to your customer, and send the above link as well. Tell him to read the instructions on the page first and then open the model.
